Consent and purpose

Use this tool to see where your current work-integrated learning sits relative to a degree apprenticeship, and to work out what your next moves are. The output is an internal planning document. It gives you a way of structuring a conversation with colleagues, employers or your governance group. It isn’t an audit, an accreditation decision, a funding decision, or any kind of formal sign-off.

Who this tool is for

Tertiary providers: universities, polytechnics, ITPs and PTEs. Useful whether you’re just curious about degree apprenticeships or already designing a programme.

What you’ll get

  • 1A readiness picture across the six domains that matter: employer demand, workplace capacity, curriculum, learner access, governance and funding.
  • 2A plan of up to fifteen next steps, sorted into the next 30, 90 and 365 days. Every step points back to a page in the Providers Guide.
  • 3A written summary you can share with colleagues, employer partners or your governance group.

Before you start

You’ll be asked for an optional email address at the end, if you’d like a copy of your report link.

Both required consents must be ticked.
